South by Southwest Festival to include cannabis speakers this March

One of these individuals is Leafly’s principal research scientist, the Harvard-educated neuroscientist Nick Jikomes. Since 2016, Dr. Jikomes has been contributing data-driven cannabis science. (He authors consumer-facing pieces as well.)
Leafly’s digital footprint is massive, in comparison to other cannabis brands. With millions of visitors each month, and hundreds of thousands of fans on social media, Leafly’s success in the cannabis space is undeniable. The company’s data-driven approach to product development, content, and strategy has helped them emerge as “thought leaders” in the cannabis space.
People often overlook the value of data. But Dr. Jikomes is leading efforts in research and data strategy. His efforts include partnering with cannabis testing facilities, producers, and processors. He incorporates lab data on cannabis products into Leafly’s consumer-facing platform.

If you’re attending SXSW this year, and looking to get into the world of legal cannabis, you’ll want to prioritize making it to Dr. Jikomes’s session.
