Crystal Young and Tommy Green are advocates for the marijuana plant and all its wonderful natural healing abilities, and the couple has personally tried all products sold on the two year old company website. While residing in Michigan, they found a passion for the power of the Marijuana plant and want to share the power with the rest of the world by finding the best brands and products in the market. Both team members are College Graduates from Eastern Michigan University.
Thank you so much for doing this with us! Can you share with us the story about what brought you to this specific career path?
We have always had a love for the cannabis plant and love seeing that the world has finally opened its eyes to the power it holds. We took that opportunity to help show others just how much CBD could help them in an all natural way for most ailments.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you began leading your company? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?
The most interesting thing that happened to us was the fun part of navigating the digital marketing landscape of CBD/Hemp products. The lessons learned about how to construct our site for SEO and how our site needed to be worded in order to run ads successfully to online platforms like Google, Bing and FB.
Those learnings have helped us increase our SEO presence and successfully launch lead generating campaigns for GreenlyOrganic.
Can you share a story about the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?
We finished our beautiful website and rounded up all the CBD and Hemp content you could find in the industry to add to our site.
Only to find out that most advertisers won’t let you advertise if your site promotes CBD in any sort of way!
So we had to think outside of the box on how to make this change without having to change our entire website!
Not fun at all but we got it done!
Are you working on any exciting projects now? How do you think that will help people?
We are currently working on testing some new products that we may add to the site from some of the top cannabis companies in the world! It will help people because we take our time to find the best information available in the marketplace along with our hand selected best products available in the CBD market!

We are most grateful for each other as business owners and spouses! Between the both of our skillsets we were able to create an amazing brand in the CBD industry. We really teamed up our skills to create an awesome brand that is growing everyday!
Our story is one of love for each other and the cannabis plant in all its glorious forms!
This industry is young, dynamic, and creative. Do you use any clever and innovative marketing strategies that you think large legacy companies should consider adopting?
Yes we use many digital marketing tools to help us create our brand. Starting with research tools like Google Trends and SEM Rush to help us understand the digital marketing landscape.
While using tools like Keyword planners, calculators and free downloadable e-books as lead magnets to bring new customers into our automated email funnels.

How steep the competition is – There are so many CBD and Hemp companies in the market fighting for a finite amount of potential customers.
The Pitfalls of CBD Digital Marketing – Knowing exactly how to create a site that will rank well with SEO and will be allowed to run ads, too.
The CBD Restrictions – Digitally marketing CBD products is very difficult! Because they classify CBD the same way they do guns and sex sites. Making it extremely difficult to do normal digital marketing strategy.
What advice would you give to other CEOs or founders to help their employees to thrive?
Make clear company goals that you and your team can accomplish while keeping your blinders on! Focus on your CBD path and do all the things you need to for your brand to stand out amongst the many players in the industry.
The more your team focuses on accomplishing the goals the easier it will be to bring your brand to market!
You are a person of great influence. If you could inspire a movement that would bring the most amount of good to the most amount of people, what would that be? You never know what your idea can trigger. 🙂
Our movement would be for more couples and families to take on business ventures together! We named this business Greenly Organic from our families last name and this is a family business.
We have all had our hand in developing the company, brand and marketing strategies! We would encourage more families to put their heads together and create a business that fits them well!
